Cancellation Policy

It is the responsibility of the registrant to read the following refund, cancellation and transfer policy.

Terms & Conditions for certification: In order to obtain certification you must attend 100% of the course and be able to demonstrate the skills to the required standard. It is your responsibility to arrive for your course BEFORE the start time.

Prepayment is required at the time of registration. Requests to reschedule or cancel your registration must be made in writing to 3silhouettes@gmail.com at least 5 days BEFORE your scheduled class.  3Silhouettes First Aid office hours are Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 4:00 pm. The office is closed on weekends and government holidays. 

Refunds will not be issued for cancellations or transfer requests made with less than 5 days notice of your course.  For requests to switch to another date, a mandatory $10.00 (+HST) course transfer fee will be applied to reschedule your registration.  This transfer fee must be paid before a spot is confirmed in the rescheduled class.  Switching to another class date is only allowed one time, you no longer qualify for a refund of any amount if you then decide to cancel or want to reschedule a second time.

Refunds are not given for no shows.  Last minute rescheduling due to illness will be treated as a course transfer and subject to the $10.00 (+HST) course transfer fee.

If you cancel 6 business days or more before the course date, you will receive a refund less a $25.00 + HST administration fee. Refunds are not given for no-shows, late arrivals, cancellations received less than 5 days before the class date or registrations that previously transferred to another class date.

3Silhouettes First Aid reserves the right to cancel a course. Our courses usually run as scheduled, however if an instructor is sick, enrolment is low or inclement weather occurs we may have to cancel.  In that case, alternate dates will be provided for rescheduling to another class date and the transfer fee would be waived.
